BFI Film Academy: Midday Movie Masterclasses

Want to learn more about the genres you love for free? Here's how! 

These illustrated talks will give you an insight into the world of film and its rich history through a variety of themes and genres including Japanese Anime, the Superhero, Horror, Censorship, Sci-fi, Modern Fairy Tales and Musicals.

There will be clips, chat, film excerpts, and time for questions and discussion.

Best of all, the afternoon will be rounded off with a specially chosen feature film screening.

All masterclasses will be 90 minutes long, followed by a 15-minute Q&A and finish with a film.

This event has been specially created for 16-25 year olds – please bring proof of age to claim your ticket. Any remaining tickets will be released to the general public on the day. Surveys must be completed by 16-25 year olds.
