To celebrate the reopening of Nottingham Castle this summer we’re screening Mel Brooks hilariously daft send-up of the famous hero. Starring the perpetually young and charming Cary Elwes, MEN IN TIGHTS spoofs the glorious melodramatic cheesefest that was ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES. In it, Robin returns after a long battle to discover that the good King has been exiled, and in his place the evil King John rules with the help of the despicable Sheriff of Rottingham.
