The Silence of the Lambs - 30th Anniversary Screening

A 4K restoration of the film that launched the Shots in the Dark Festival 30 years ago and which also marked its British Premiere. A psychopath named Buffalo Bill is murdering women, and believing it takes one to know one, the FBI sends Agent Clarice Starling to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a cannibalistic psychiatrist whose fascination with the young agent is as great as his hunger for murder. The critical and commercial success of the film led to it winning no less than 5 Academy awards including Best Actress For Jodie Foster and Best Actor for Anthony Hopkins.

Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London will introduce the film.

Part of Shots in the Dark - Broadway’s Crime, Mystery and Thriller festival.
