One night, while on the road, Chisako rescues a boy who has lost his memory in an accident. Not knowing who he is or what to do with him, Chisako discovers signs of abuse on his body and, instead of handing him over to social services, decides to pretend to be his mother and take him under her wing. As the pair begin to bond, the dangerous and possibly violent repercussions of Chisako’s lie start to mount. Was her lie a crime or an act of love?
