'I had to return to the darkness, I couldn't stand the sun.' Letters to Milena - Franz Kafka

Not limiting ourselves to merely what can make sense. No, we are seeking the contradiction, wretchedness, the duality of light and dark in enchantment. The darkness, the underbelly, of thought and feeling, that's the Work, that's where we will gather.

This is a facilitated conversation about our original pieces and the pieces we have read that have resonated with us deeply. We will explore darkness in creativity and transformation, the aspects that are often not articulated, tossed and written away. I invite you to see what happens when we don't seek to be found but remain in what is lost. What Charles Darwin called the "mystery of mysteries" and Emily Dickinson called the "Natural magic." Come, let's discuss.

This is a fundraising event with tickets sales going to the brilliant CoppaFeel breast cancer charity. I'm doing a sponsored trek in the Himalayas which have haunted and goaded me since my birth - yikes.
