Screening as part of In Dreams: The Films of David Lynch
The David Lynch film with the most The Wizard of Oz DNA takes us on an intoxicating, bizarrely perverse Southwestern odyssey. In it, star-crossed lovers Sailor and his girlfriend Lula flee psycho matriarch Diane Ladd (Dern’s real-life mother) leaving a trail of sex and carnage in their wake. It’s a Lynchian nightmare featuring snakeskin jackets, Elvis, a killer soundtrack and a literal fairy godmother. An essential big screen watch.
This screening is taking place as part of The Royal Concert Hall’s Soundstage Festival 2025 and will be introduced by David Lynch expert David Longford.
Please note there will be no ads & trailers, the event will begin 10 minutes after the advertised start time.
