Neon Forms

Neon Forms is a digital drawing tool for making bright, eye-catching artworks.

Play with colours, patterns, and abstract shapes that twist and blend together to make unique designs. You can save and share your creations with friends, family, and an online gallery!

This project is made by artist Will Hurt to explore how drawing has changed with computers. It was developed through Broadway's Near Now Fellowship which supported Will to make exciting new digital experiences that let people play, create, and share their own artworks.

Neon Forms: Live

An immersive, multi-screen version of Neon Forms can be experienced at St Ann’s Valley Library and Strelley Road Library in Nottingham from April 2025.

Commissioned by Nottingham City Libraries for Connect Culture, a project to showcase exciting content produced by local creatives and digital media companies.

The interactive touch screen experiences, activities and exhibitions are suitable for people of all ages to enjoy. Available and free to watch at any time, just call in to the participating libraries to find out more.

Connect Culture is supported using public funding by Arts Council England. Presented using custom-built interactive, immersive digital screens developed and installed by Nottingham company Mission Room Ltd.
