At Knepp Castle in Sussex, conservation pioneers Isabella Tree and Charlie Burrell abandoned industrial farming practices and allowed nature to ‘rewild’ their 3,500-acre estate with remarkable results. Directed by Emmy-award winning nature documentarian David Allen, the film sees the couple ripping down the fences as they set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild.
The film will be followed by a post-screening discussion about rewilding, with the University of Nottingham's Tom Reader - Associate Professor, School of Life Sciences, and Lorienne Whittle from Boothby Wildland (Knepp’s Sister Site in Grantham), hosted by Broadway's Caroline Hennigan.
