Family Film Club: Matilda

Starring the brilliant Mara Wilson as Matilda, back on the big screen is Danny DeVito’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved story about a precocious young girl with magical powers. A voracious reader by the age of six, Matilda lives at home with her brother and parents (played to awful perfection by DeVito and Rhea Perlman). Discovering she possesses psychokinetic abilities, she learns to manage them to deal with the tyrannical principal of her school.
