Animation Workshop: Toontable Loops

Join us for an animation activity workshop ahead of our screenings of My Neighbour Totoro on Wednesday 7 August.

Create fun looped animations using your drawings & Paper Cutouts. Watch as your creations are played back using a record player.

Come along, enjoy lunch from our Kids’ Menu (or a coffee if you’re a parent) and learn all about the process of creating animation using drawing and cut-out techniques. We’ll share simple tips and tricks to start using animation at home with your family.

Workshop led by Trevor Woolery, Creative Director of Create Animate and artist-in-residence at Broadway’s Near Now Studio.

What You Need To Take Part

To take part in the workshop, download the Stop Motion Studio app for free on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Chrome or Fire device, or use one of ours.

12pm – 2pm in the Mezz Lounge.

This is an informal drop-in session recommended for ages 6-12.

Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
