Animation Workshop: Kitchen Table-tastic (Ages 6-12)

Join us for an animation activity workshop, led by Trevor Woolery - Creative Director of  Create Animate and artist-in-residence at Broadway’s Near Now Studio

12pm – 2pm in the Mezz Lounge

Create fun. food-themed animations using everyday objects and your smartphone or tablet device. Learn how you can create fun animations at home using technology and materials you already have. Inspired by animators PES & Norman McLaren.  

Come along, enjoy lunch from our Kids’ Menu (or a coffee if you’re a parent) and learn all about the process of creating animation using drawing and cut-out techniques. We’ll share simple tips and tricks to start using animation at home with your family. 

What You Need To Take Part

To take part in the workshop, download the Stop Motion Studio app for free on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Chrome or Fire device, or use one of ours. 

This is an informal workshop session recommended for ages 6-12. Booking is recommended, but not essential - no fixed time slots, just drop in.

Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
