Since the days of our ancestors, dark December nights have led to people gathering together for feasting, warmth and storytelling. With the advent of film, these stories have allowed us to immerse ourselves in the themes, characters, emotions and landscapes of this special time. From the spirits tormenting Scrooge, to the terrorists threatening the guests at Nakatomi Plaza; from killers in Santa hats, to strange creatures you must never ever feed after midnight; from pesky burglars, to redemption in Bedford Falls.
What makes a Christmas movie? Why do we love them? And why do we return to them time and time again? Join us for an afternoon of snow, magic, explosions and festive danger. Intended for adults as films from the naughty list will be included!
