The spaghetti western to end all spaghetti westerns, Sergio Leone’s masterwork could be one of the greatest westerns ever made. Leone came together with Dario Argento and Bernardo Bertolucci to create a revenger's tragedy, drawing upon western tropes but revising them with a leftwing spin; depicting capitalism's ruthless conquest of the west as it crushes or kills every obstacle in its path. Featuring an all star cast of Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and Claudia Cardinale and a quintessential score from Ennio Morricone, this film is truly epic and is not to be missed on the big screen.
