Denzel Washington and Spike Lee reunite for a fifth collaboration in this reinterpretation of the great Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller High and Low, transposed from post-war Japan to the mean streets of modern day New York City. When a powerful music mogul is targeted with a ransom plot, he becomes tangled up in a life-or-death moral dilemma.
