When a tidemark of poisoned crabs and lobsters devastates a small North East fishing town in England, veteran fisherman Stan Rennie becomes the unlikeliest of activists. A wry David and Goliath story from acclaimed Broadway-based documentary maker Jeanie Finlay, told with gallows humour and a strong local accent, about the grief of navigating a world which has suddenly, inexplicably changed forever.

Followed by a Q&A with director Jeanie Finlay and producer Charlie Phillips, hosted by three-time Booker Prize longlisted author Jon McGregor.

All Rivers Spill Their Stories to the Sea is also screening here on general release from Fri 23 Oct.

"A powerful story, told with poignancy, humour and poetry from one of our leading documentary makers"
