Happy As Lazzaro

In an isolated rural estate, young Lazzaro is working with other unpaid workers at a tobacco farm. His innocence and kindness often mistaken for simple-mindedness, Lazzaro is both adored and taken advantage of. When Tancredi, a young self-absorbed aristocrat visits the farm, he senses an opportunity and embroils Lazzaro in a daring plan to deceive his mother.
