This exhibition is themed around a working atelier, a historic term to describe a studio where artists learn from other artists. The artist will recreate an atelier studio space within the gallery, exhibiting a selection of landscape, portrait and still life paintings.
Taught by master artists in Florence, and developing his practice across Europe, Robin Perko captures realistic, emotive paintings representing form, space, and most importantly the essence of the subject.
About the artist
Balanced between impressionism and realism, Robin's work is an authentic vision between the artist and the subject. His paintings capture time and are restless, emanating life and human emotion.
Robin has exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Ruth Borchard Collection and The Royal Society of British Artists, amongst other venues. Previous work includes commissions for television and film.
Robin leads The Atelier teaching sessions as well as painting and exhibiting.
