Almost three decades after the rage virus escaped a biological weapons lab, survivors still live in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine to keep them protected. When one such survivor leaves his island quarantine on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors too.
