Animation Workshop: Colourful Sea Creatures (Ages 6-12)

Join us for an animation activity workshop ahead of our screenings of Deep Sea on Thu 15 Aug

12pm – 2pm in the Mezz Lounge

Create colourful sea creature animations using your drawings, paper cutouts and collage.

Come along, enjoy lunch from our Kids’ Menu (or a coffee if you’re a parent) and learn all about the process of creating animation using drawing and cut-out techniques. We’ll share simple tips and tricks to start using animation at home with your family. 

What You Need to Take Part

To take part in the workshop, download the Stop Motion Studio app for free on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Chrome or Fire device, or use one of ours. 

Workshop led by Trevor Woolery, Creative Director of Create Animate and artist-in-residence at Broadway’s Near Now Studio. 

This is an informal workshop session, recommended for ages 6-12. Booking is recommended, but not essential - no fixed time slots, just drop in.

Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
