Broadway is proud to present the gala premiere screening of the curious BLIND DATE, the conflicting FLATMATES, and the insightful LITTLE THINGS, all created by our current BFI Film Academy cohort.
As a course provider for the BFI Film Academy UK Network Programme for the past eight years, Broadway has helped over 150 talented young people from diverse backgrounds take their first step into a career in the film industry.
Our latest alumni success stories include paid traineeships on major international feature film productions - the upcoming James Bond film NO TIME TO DIE (2020) and STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER (2019).
This year, we received 77 applications, the highest in the history of Broadway’s delivery of the Film Academy. Over an intensive four-month programme, the selected twenty have been in the capable hands of experienced professionals, developing their filmmaking expertise across all areas of film, including development, production management, craft, technical, post-production, and sales and distribution.
Join us as we celebrate the young people’s accomplishments - see a preview of the short films they have worked so hard to produce, and hear their stories and experiences, with a Q&A hosted by Broadway’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Stewart Terry.
Tickets: £2 - all proceeds go towards our Beyond the Reel fundraising campaign, which supports the development of new filmmaking talent.
