This is an outdoor screening, presented by Broadway at Lakeside

The greatest concert film of all time, Stop Making Sense brings to the screen Talking Heads at Hollywood's Pantages Theater in December 1983: David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison, alongside an ecstatic ensemble of supporting musicians. Renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs) captures the band at their exhilarating best, in this new and complete restoration for the film's 40th anniversary.

Entry is from 7.30pm. Each screening will begin after sunset, as soon as it is dark enough to screen the film - we anticipate that Stop Making Sense will begin at approx. 8.10pm.

Screening outdoors at Lakeside, University Park, Lakeside Arts, Nottingham NG7 2RD. Please see Lakeside's website for information on how to get there.

Screenings will take place behind the DH Lawrence Pavilion at Lakeside.
