A vibrant collection of artworks by City Arts’ Get Creative Collective.
Get Creative supports a group of artists who are learning disabled, experience mental health issues or are receiving other types of health care in the community. Weekly sessions act as a pop-up studio space for the artists. With one-on-one support from artist Dominique Cunnington and our team of volunteers, group members work on their own art projects.
‘My Art, My Way’ celebrates the richness of human difference. It highlights the value of individuality and the beauty that emerges when diverse voices are honoured and uplifted. This latest body of work marks a shift from the group’s previous collaborative exhibitions. It allows each artist’s individual voice to shine. Through their independent creations, the artists offer powerful glimpses into their unique artistic visions, passions, and journeys of personal exploration.
