During the 60s and early 70s, the Italian Western dominated the screen with operatic violence with a more cynical and gritty take on the traditional Hollywood Western.
These films feature ambiguous anti-heroes out for revenge. Though often made for low budgets, these films are stylish, action-packed, and have gone on to become iconic and highly influential.
