A Greyhound of a Girl

Based on the novel by Roddy Doyle, this colourful and warm-hearted animation centres on Mary, a spirited 11-year-old who loves cooking at home with her Nana. 

While her two older brothers think of nothing but football and dinner, Mary dreams of being a great chef, encouraged by her gran. When her gran’s health starts to fail, the women of the household travel through the older woman’s past, addressing family history and memories.
