Set in a period of civil unrest in Paris, La Haine tells the story of three friends over a 24-hour period. Saïd, Hubert and Vinz travel from their neighbourhood into Paris seeking answers and retribution for the attack on their friend Abdel. The film manages to balance incredibly tense scenes with hilariously witty dialogue and political commentary, with an ending that will leave you frozen in your seat.
