My Movie: Reel People Short Film Showcase

Reel People was formed in November 2025 by a small group of independent filmmakers looking to create a vibrant and supportive film production community in Nottingham.

Over the last twelve months, the group has grown in numbers and the five short films screening represent a collection of the first projects that were fully pitched, produced and edited as part of the monthly group meet-ups.

Fate is written and directed by Zefi Toska, Daylong is written and directed by Caroline Salzedo, Beer Advisor is written and directed by Duncan Ashton, The Hold Up is written and directed by Katherine Buttfield, and Compersion is written and directed by Venanzio Capretta.

If you would like to find out more about Reel People and their regular meet-ups, you can contact keith@reel-people.org or jeff@reel-people.org or follow their Instagram at @we_are_reel_people

This is a My Movie screening, and open to all.
