Set on a bank holiday weekend and based on the music of Pete Townshend and The Who's legendary album of the same name, this classic British film tells the story of Jimmy, a young man dissatisfied with his job and who has a penchant for drug taking. While his day-to-day life is mundane, at night he and his gang, the Mods, enjoy all-night parties and a rivalry with the Rockers. A convergence of both gangs in Brighton ends with Jimmy in a tailspin as he spirals out of control. Time to get your Vespa revving. - Time Out
