New from acclaimed Spanish writer-director Carla Simón (Summer 1993, Alcarràs), Romeria follows a young woman on a voyage of discovery about her late parents.

In the early 2000s, eighteen-year-old Marina travels to Vigo on Spain's Atlantic coast in search of information about her biological father. Reconnecting with the paternal side of her family, she discovers a huge amount of secrecy and shame around his death.
