This month sees the highly anticipated release of Coppola’s next cinematic opus; Megalopolis, the story of a man trying to change a whole empire. Coppola himself has challenged the movie-making establishment for over 60 years with his unique brand of storytelling, direction and off-screen determination. But who is this titan of film? And why do so many of today’s iconic movie makers call him their friend? Join us for the epic and dangerous journey along the river of his life, as we explore the stories he has chosen to tell, the legendary cinematic moments he has created, and the legacy he carries with him as he shapes, creates and moulds his own cinematic empire.
