Join Tenx9 and Kino Kolo Notts for a night of short films & storytelling on the theme of Fashion.
Tenx9 is partnering with Kino Kolo Notts at Broadway to bring you an evening of true stories and short films from Eastern Europe, on the theme of Fashion.
Fashion is part of the zeitgeist, whether we subscribe to it or not, it's about things that are accessible and things that are aspirational. How do we learn what we should and should not be wearing? If we make it cool to be unfashionable, then we are making a protest against a consuming society.
However, we're all putting something onto our bodies, we care how we look, even if we say we don't, there's a whole aesthetic to looking like you don't care. Fashion is a type of performance, a stance. Clothes can be an extension of your skin, have your back, cover you up - by choice or force. We want you to think in creative ways and go feral with this theme.
Let's make this about a shift, disrupt, think outside of the box - BUT do come dressed fabulously, in what you're wearing lately, if you're a writer what's your swagger, what's your go-to look, we want to see it all.
About Tenx9
