Join us for a trip back to 1999 to revisit some of our favourite films celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.

From The Blair Witch Project, the film that popularised the found footage horror sub-genre, to the mind-boggling weird premise for Being John Malkovich, the decade saw studio execs demonstrating a more adventurous appetite for risk-taking. With an investment in original ideas, and new and emerging filmmakers like Paul Thomas Anderson, David Fincher, and Spike Jonze given the freedom to develop their own projects, the result was a watershed moment for American cinema.

Keep your eyes peeled – our 1999 celebration continues next month…
