'When was the last time you felt peace?’ Alice has to write something. Because that’s what she has to do. You can’t just say no to an opportunity like that. Can you?

Exploring themes of guilt and burnout, expectations and choice, this comedy play watches Alice attempt to navigate her big break, for an audience she’s always dreamed of. But with the threat of a good time, deadline, and characters made to break her, Alice quickly realises that, when you’re walking a tightrope between what you want and what wants you, eventually something’s gotta give…

The creators of Yeah, No, Fine. - Emma Gray and Grace Carter - met here at Broadway in 2021 working on the bar together. It wasn’t long before they took to devising, writing and rehearsing their debut play using our studio space. After their sell-out performances at Nottingham Playhouse last year, we’re very excited to continue to support the pair as they bring this Broadway-born performance to life in our Café Bar.

Performed in our Café Bar - please note, seating is unallocated. If you have any access requirements such as wheelchair spaces, please contact our Box Office team at info@broadway.org.uk or 0115 952 6611, who will arrange seat reservations for you for this event.
