For this year's Light Night in Nottingham, we have a super special treat for you in the Café Bar at Broadway, with a live video and vinyl performance from Nottingham DJ Stiff Kittens… the KittyArama Show!
Projecting real-time triggered and edited visuals and stop motion animation of a pick n mix of vinyl figures, retro toys, robots, and all kinds of strange and wonderful found objects. Sprinkled with self-created Nottingham footage, vintage social film footage, B-movie and classic film samples, plus a pick n mix of funny, random film fun!
These projections are then beat sequenced to a live vinyl performance, mixing funk, soul, disco, film soundtracks, spy music and more, all on lovely shiny vinyl records. Expect anything and everything from Stiff Kittens AV show KittyArama.
