Nottingham Light Night 2026 at Broadway

Nottingham Light Night is back for 2026 – brighter and more magical than ever!

Friday 6th & Saturday 7th February 2026

This free, family-friendly event invites everyone to experience Nottingham like never before, with glowing installations, interactive displays, and live performances illuminating the city's landmarks, streets, and hidden corners.

Light Night Lates

Broadway will be hosting a range of events and activities throughout Nottingham Light Night 2026 from 5pm until late.

In collaboration with local artists and creatives, discover live DJs and visuals, interactive artworks and installations, and immersive virtual reality experiences across our bars, gallery and public spaces.

Programme

Terrace/Broad Street (Friday & Saturday)

  • From 5pm - an interactive artwork by Mark Robertson (DepthM) projected onto Broad Street.
  • From 6-9pm - a lineup of local DJs curated by Surreal Estate

CaféBar

Friday only:

Saturday only:

  • From 6pm - Live DJ set and visuals by Jess Colbourne-Viggers and Sian Morrell

Gallery (Friday & Saturday)

  • From 5pm - an interactive installation by Mark Robertson (DepthM) . View and interact with the artwork through the windows of Broadway Gallery (17 Heathcoat Street, NG1 3AF)

Mezz Lounge (Friday & Saturday)

  • From 1pm-8pm - try out LASER DANCE, a mixed reality game that turns Broadway into a laser obstacle course straight from a spy film! Book a slot to take part. Tickets coming soon.

About Nottingham Light Night 2026

More than 30 immersive and interactive light-based installations, performances, and activities will be taking place across Nottingham over the two nights.

Find out more about the full event projects, including many projects by Nottingham-based artists and organisations, in the full Light Night programme. Attendees will be able to plan their itineraries and read more about all the installations using the free It’s in Nottingham app. Printed guides will also be available from the Tourism Centre on Smithy Row, and at key locations on the day.

Light Night is produced and funded by Nottingham City Council and It’s in Nottingham. Cultural organisations across the city also support the event.
