E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young boy named Elliott. Introducing the extra-terrestrial to his brother and little sister Gertie as E.T., the children decide to keep their welcome guest a secret in their suburban California home. Inspired by his own experiences of his parents’ divorce, Steven Spielberg brings heart and deep protective care in the boy’s responsibility of keeping E.T safe, set to John Williams’ wondrous score.
