The People's Emergency Briefing + Panel Discussion

The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future. In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The People’s Emergency Briefing brings together people in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond. 

Presented by Chris Packham alongside celebrity guests Jennifer Saunders, Konnie Huq, Deborah Meaden and Adam Buxton, this film delivers evidence from independent experts so that the whole country can be fully informed about the risks we face and the solutions available. 

The 50-minute screening will be followed by a panel discussion, with guests:

Marcello Di Bonito - Associate Professor of Environmental and Soil Sciences at Nottingham Trent University
