Broadway Gallery: Beyond Capture

Online entries accepted from Monday 8th June 2026 to Friday 14th August 2026.

Minimum entry donation of £6 for 3 images. Proceeds support Nottingham-based youth support charity Base51.

​Here is your chance to exhibit your photography at Broadway Gallery, Heathcoat street, Nottingham, NG1 3AF.

​The goal of this exhibition is to showcase non representational images created by photography based artists. We are looking for images that are designed to evoke emotion and meaning by the use of colour, shape, narrative, line and composition. 

​As with all Evocation Art exhibitions, we really want to see captivating images that convey your clearest personal expression.

Your images can be of any subject and may be colour, black-and-white… or anything in-between. The images could have been taken anywhere in the world, at any time. You can enter images taken with any kind of camera, including smartphones and other mobile devices. (Photos shot on film will need to be scanned and uploaded as digital images.) No prints, slides or other physical media are accepted for entry. See terms and conditions.

Entry is open to all photographers aged 18+.

Exhibition details

Final decision on entries will be made by the Selection Panel (TBA)

You will be notified if your image(s) is selected and it(they) will need to be printed, mounted, framed and hanging ready.

Maximum dimensions 500mm x 500mm (includes Frame).

Delivered to Broadway Gallery, 14-18 Broad street, Nottingham on Monday 21st September 2026.

Unsold images to be collected* Monday  5th October. *Please note we do not have the facility to store images.

The gallery will be staffed throughout the days the exhibition is open, if images are sold through Evocation Art, 20% of the sale price will be deducted.

During and after, the exhibition images will be featured on Evocation Art's website.

Broadway Gallery

Broadway's Gallery is located on our lower ground floor, nestled within Broadway’s design and innovation studio spaces behind Screens 3 and 4. Street level access from 17 Heathcoat Street (NG1 3AF) or via Broadway's main entrance on Broad Street (NG1 3AL). Broadway’s design and innovation spaces are fully wheelchair accessible, with ramps and lift access from Broadway’s Box Office.
