Our friends The Nottingham Horror Collective are taking over Screen 1 to present a special screening of Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, a balletcore body horror about the slow unravelling of a woman obsessed with perfection.
Following the screening, to celebrate their upcoming first full-length book, DEAD PRETTY: Beauty in the Horror Genre, they’ll be hosting a live panel with the creators of the book discussing its themes and the process behind it.
Featuring a foreword by Jen and Sylvia Soska, the writer-directors behind American Mary, DEAD PRETTY brings together writers from different backgrounds to examine beauty in horror from films spanning decades and genres.
