It’s 1962 and black classical pianist Dr Don Shirley is looking for a chauffeur to drive him on a tour of the Deep South, and also act as protector. Not the obvious first choice, least so for his questionable views on race, Italian-American bouncer Tony Lip is hired for the job. Initially struggling to get along, the mismatched pair soon warm up to each other and so begins a touching friendship in this charming new film from Peter Farrelly.
