My Niece's Big Fat Delhi Wedding (Associated Course Screening)

Haresh Sood’s directorial debut is a real-life comedy spin on Mira’s Nair’s film, Monsoon Wedding. My Niece’s Big Fat Delhi Wedding was shot in Gurugram, a suburb of Delhi, over 10 days during 10 ceremonies highlighting the key ‘C’ words associated to a big fat Indian wedding including, cost, culture, ceremonies and above all the comedy. Showcased at more than 100 film festivals globally, with a reach of 5 million people worldwide, this film won awards all over the globe in various categories at film festivals.

Things You Didn’t Get Taught At Film School course attendees are invited to a private social screening of tutor Haresh Sood’s debut film, My Niece’s Big Fat Delhi Wedding. This screening will be at 5.30pm in The Lounge at Broadway and optional to attend. Tickets are free for the film screening, but please book.
