Arthouse film powerhouses Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton combine forces in Pedro Almodóvar’s first English-language feature film. The pair play two women rekindling a friendship after a number of years without contact – Ingrid, a best-selling writer, and Martha, a war journalist – immersing themselves in their pasts, sharing memories, anecdotes, art, movies, until Martha has a request that will test their newly strengthened bond.
